Andrew’s vision for meaningful student learning experiences is as compelling as his photography. “As an artist and teacher of Fine Arts, I have been implicitly involved in the experiential aspects of learning. During the last 40 years, my direct involvement with the WISE program has been primarily as a mentor and resource for many students. Now, as a WISE Services Board Member, I continue to honor the healthy alternatives that real experience offers our young people through this program. Truly opening the classroom box to the real world allows students to engage unfiltered life experiences the way art education has done since the beginning of history.”

Andrew’s work will be exhibited at the Arts Westchester Gallery in White Plains, New York, with the opening on May 15, 2015.  A sneak preview of his photography on exhibit is below.
